Abstract

Balangkas: An International Multidisciplinary Research Journal suggests using the following key points in the structuring the abstract:

  1. Objective: State the purpose of the study in a clear and concise manner.
  2. Methods: Describe the research design, participants, and procedures used in the study.
  3. Results: Present the findings of the study, including statistical analyses and data visualization.
  4. Conclusions: Summarize the main conclusions drawn from the study and their implications.

When writing a structured abstract, consider breaking down each category into a question to help guide your writing. The abstract should be no more than 250 to 300 words, excluding the section headers, to ensure that the information is concise and easily understood.

Keywords

Include a list of 4 to 6 keywords that accurately describe the content of your manuscript.

Artwork

Ensure that all figures, tables, and other artwork are of high quality and properly labeled.

Tables

Include all necessary tables in your manuscript, with clear and concise labels and formatting. Please submit tables in an editable format, such as Word, rather than as images. Tables should be placed either next to the relevant text in the article or on separate pages at the end. Number tables consecutively according to their appearance in the text, and place any table notes below the table body. Use tables sparingly and ensure that the data they present do not duplicate results described elsewhere in the article. Avoid using vertical rules and shading in table cells.

In-Text Citations: Use the author-date system to cite sources within the text, with the author's last name and the year of publication.

Reference List: List all sources cited in the manuscript in alphabetical order, with the author's last name, first initial, and publication year.

Group Authorship: For groups with an abbreviation (e.g., NIMH), list the group's name first, followed by the abbreviation in parentheses. For groups without an abbreviation (e.g., University of Pittsburg), list the group's name first, followed by the location in parentheses.
